Project Progress

Construction is now well progressed and on track for our original forecast completion in Q1 2018.

Key achievements for period include:

• Site handover to Vicinity Homes
• Digging, drilling, reinforcing and pouring of foundations. As per our Design, solid clay earth was found during excavation,  so foundations will have excellent strength, stability and durability.
• Subfloor brickwork and piers laid.
• Structural, Water Service and QS inspections performed and subsequent approvals obtained.
• Structural and Architectural plans have been amended to incorporate builder feedback that will improve the construction quality and finish. Items included, Stair layout, retaining wall design, structural beam details, pier and footing design, and roof water-proofing design.
• Section 96 has been approved and incorporated into plans. This incorporated the interior design and layout improvements made by the Interior Design team.
• A soft marketing campaign has been started for the sale of the completed units, with signage erected onsite, and a microsite created for “Edan on Oakes”  providing buyer information and registration.  www.edanproperty.com.au/buy

Framing will shortly commence and whilst scheduled for August, is now to complete in September.
