The project is progressing well and is forecast for completion late 2017.  Project profitability is no longer a key risk as final quotes have been recieved for all major works and the project budget within original forecasts. The Project Schedule continues to be under pressure due to impact of xmas shutdown period and continued high demand for building services across the industry.

• Achieved DA approval. Very favourable assessment of design by council with only minor amendments and feedback provided.
• Tender for builder has been completed. 28 builders assessed and two shortlisted. Terms and contracts now being finalised with preferred party.
• CC design has commenced and due to complete within next fortnight. Builder feedback has been incorporated into designs to mitigate construction risks and complexity.
• Tender for Landscaping has been completed. 6 Landscapers assessed and two shortlisted.
• Tender for Demolition has been completed. 4 company’s assessed. Preferred party will be engaged once project financing is in place.
• Project financing is being finalised.

Based on builder availability it appears that demolition will occur in Feb 2017 and construction in Mar 2017 – a month later then scheduled due to the impact of the above mentioned risk.
